Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Our digital products

Grandma's Chinese Kitchen provides digital PDF recipe guides. No physical products are shipped. Please review the product description, language, contents, technical requirements and access conditions before purchasing.

2. Change-of-mind refunds

Except where required by applicable law or permitted under the applicable Dodo Payments buyer terms, we do not offer voluntary change-of-mind refunds after supply of the digital content has begun. Any statutory withdrawal or cancellation right is subject to the rules below.

Payment alone, acceptance of this policy, or the availability of a download link does not by itself establish that a statutory withdrawal right has been lost.

3. EU, EEA and UK consumers

If the applicable law gives you a 14-day right to withdraw from or cancel your digital-content contract, that period generally begins when the contract is concluded.

Where the law permits an exception for digital content supplied without a physical medium, that right is lost only when supply has begun and all applicable legal conditions have been met. These include your prior express consent to begin supply during the withdrawal period, your acknowledgement that you will lose the right when supply begins, and the required contract confirmation.

If those conditions have not been met, your applicable statutory right remains available. Mandatory national rules and any legally required extension of the withdrawal period continue to apply.

4. Consumers in other countries

Cancellation and refund rights vary by country and region. We do not assume that consumers outside the EU, EEA or UK have no statutory rights. Any mandatory protections that apply to your purchase take priority over this policy.

5. Non-delivery, defects and incorrect content

Please contact us if you cannot access your purchase, receive the wrong file, encounter a damaged or unreadable PDF, or believe the content materially differs from its description. We will investigate and provide the remedy required by applicable law, which may include supplying the correct content, correcting a defect, a price reduction or a refund.

Agreement to immediate digital delivery does not waive your statutory rights concerning non-delivery, defective content or content that does not conform to the contract. Contacting us does not restrict your right to seek another legally available remedy.

6. Duplicate, incorrect or unauthorised charges

If you notice a duplicate, incorrect or unauthorised charge, contact us or Dodo Payments promptly so that the transaction can be investigated. This policy does not restrict your rights with your payment provider.

7. How to request cancellation or a refund

Email chinese_kitchen@163.com or use the buyer-support contact identified in your Dodo Payments receipt or checkout terms.

To exercise an available withdrawal right, send a clear statement that you wish to withdraw before the applicable deadline. You do not need to give a reason or use particular wording. Include your name, purchase email, order reference if available, and the product concerned so that we can identify your purchase. We will coordinate the request with Dodo Payments where necessary.

For a product problem, please describe the issue. Never send your full card number, security code, password or identity documents by email.

9. Refund processing and access

Dodo Payments acts as Merchant of Record for purchases processed through its checkout. Refunds are handled under applicable law and the buyer terms applicable to your transaction. Our policy does not override Dodo Payments' obligations or authority under those terms.

Where a refund is due, it will be processed within the applicable legal deadline, generally to the original payment method unless otherwise lawfully agreed. The time taken for funds to appear depends on the payment provider.

Following a full refund or valid cancellation, access to the affected purchase may be revoked where permitted by law. Unrelated purchases remain unaffected.

10. Your statutory rights and policy changes

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Updated versions will not retrospectively reduce the rights or protections applicable to an existing purchase.
